What is a Euro step?

Two steps to get where few players get

On the court, the Euro step means changing direction in two steps when the direct path to the rim is closed. Off the court it works the same way: one smart move that puts you in front of the rim.

  1. 1

    Step 1 · Here

You pre-register, send your video and a reference from your coach, and we interview you and your family. We select 10 players per squad.

  2. 2

    Step 2 · Madrid

Fourteen days of training, games against opponents your age, assessment at the start and at the end, workshops and the city as a classroom.

  3. RIM

    The rim · Back home

You come home with an individual report, professional video and a plan to keep growing at your school, university or club.

FAQ

What families ask most

Who can take part?

High school players aged 15 to 18 (Prep squad) and college players aged 18 to 23 (College squad), from Mexico and the United States. Participation is by selection.

Does pre-registering commit me to pay?

No. Pre-registration is free and carries no obligation: it lets us send you the application and dates.

Is a visa needed for Spain?

No. Mexican and US citizens enter without a visa for short stays. A passport valid until January 2028 is required, plus Mexico’s SAM form or a notarized consent letter (US) for minors.

Who looks after players under 18?

Two chaperones assigned to the Prep squad, day and night, plus a protection officer. Prep players never go out alone.

Does it affect athletic eligibility?

Before accepting each player we ask for written confirmation from their school or university (for example UIL, NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA or Liga ABE).

Do you guarantee scholarships or club tryouts?

No. We deliver a professional report and video you can share with coaches, and we follow each association’s recruiting rules.

What if a player gets injured?

The physio treats him on the spot, insurance covers medical care and a chaperone goes with him to the hospital. We notify the family right away.

What if we need to cancel?

Before March 15, 2027 everything is refunded except the US$1,500 deposit. After May 1 there is no refund, except what optional cancellation insurance covers. If the player is not accepted or the program does not take place, 100 % is refunded.

Are there scholarships?

We are looking for sponsors to offer partial scholarships. Let us know when you pre-register and we will tell you when they are available.

Can we pay in Mexican pesos?

Yes. The price is in US dollars, but families in Mexico can pay the peso equivalent at the exchange rate on the day of each payment.

What language is the program in?

In Spanish. Chaperones speak Spanish and English.
